Warranty & Returns

90-Day Standard Parts Warranty

Unless otherwise stated in the product listing, used OEM parts sold by My Part Depot include a 90-day parts-only warranty beginning on the date of delivery.

Our standard warranty covers the purchased part only. Labor, installation, diagnostic charges, towing, rental vehicles, lost time, loss of use, and other incidental or consequential expenses are not covered.

The 90-day warranty is separate from our 30-day return period. The warranty does not provide a 90-day right to return an item because it was ordered incorrectly, is no longer needed, or the buyer changed their mind.

Engines, Transmissions & Drivetrain Components

Engines, transmissions, transfer cases, axles, differentials, and other major drivetrain components must be properly installed and maintained.

Warranty claims may require documentation showing professional diagnosis, proper installation, required maintenance, fluid replacement, and any necessary programming or relearn procedures.

Damage caused by improper installation, overheating, lack of lubrication, incorrect fluids, abuse, modification, or failure of another vehicle component is not covered.

Computers & Electrical Parts

Computers, modules, and other electrical components may require programming, coding, calibration, or relearn procedures after installation.

Warranty claims involving electrical components may require proof of professional diagnosis and any required programming procedures.

Return Authorization (RMA)

All returns require prior authorization from My Part Depot. Customers must contact us within 30 days of delivery to request a return. Submitting a return request does not mean the return has been accepted.

If a return is approved, My Part Depot will issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and return instructions.

Do not return an item until an RMA number has been issued. Unauthorized returns, returns sent without an RMA number, or returns sent to an address other than the address provided in the return instructions may be refused.

Issuance of an RMA authorizes the item to be returned for inspection and does not guarantee a refund.

Return Condition

Items must be returned in the same condition in which they were received and must include all original components and identification markings.

Items that have been disassembled, modified, altered, improperly installed, damaged after delivery, or returned in a condition different from when shipped may be refused or may not qualify for a full refund.

Buyer-Responsibility Returns

If an accepted return is due to the item being ordered incorrectly, no longer being needed, buyer's remorse, or another reason not caused by an error by My Part Depot, the return is subject to a 20% restocking fee.

The customer is responsible for return shipping on buyer-responsibility returns.

For orders that included free shipping, the actual original outbound shipping cost paid by My Part Depot may also be deducted from the refund. Free shipping applies to the original purchase only and does not mean My Part Depot incurred no shipping expense.

Any shipping charge originally paid by the customer is non-refundable on buyer-responsibility returns.

Incorrect, Defective or Misrepresented Items

If My Part Depot ships an incorrect item, or an item is materially different from the listing or is believed to be defective under the applicable warranty, please contact us before returning the item.

We will review the issue and provide instructions. A restocking fee will not be charged when an approved return is the result of an error by My Part Depot or an approved warranty claim.

Used OEM Part Condition

My Part Depot sells used OEM automotive parts. Used parts may show normal signs of previous use, including cosmetic wear, scratches, dirt, discoloration, or surface corrosion. Conditions clearly shown or disclosed in the product listing or photographs are not considered defects.

Buyers are responsible for reviewing the complete product description, photographs, part numbers, options, and fitment information before purchasing.

Refunds

Refunds for approved returns are issued after the returned item has been received and inspected.

Applicable restocking fees, original outbound shipping costs, return shipping costs, and other non-refundable shipping charges may be deducted from the refund when applicable under this policy.

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method.

Damaged Shipments

Inspect your order when it arrives. If an item appears to have been damaged during shipping, contact My Part Depot as soon as possible and keep all packaging and shipping materials.

For freight shipments, visible damage should be noted with the carrier at the time of delivery whenever possible.
